Daegu Dalseo-gu (District Mayor Lee Taehun) will hold the '2025 Middle-aged Job Fair' on the 2nd floor grand auditorium of the district office from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on the 10th.
This job fair is jointly organized with the Daegu Seobu Employment Welfare Plus Center, Daegu Seongseo Industrial Complex Management Corporation, and Sindalseo Women's New Employment Center to provide various job opportunities for job seekers aged 40 and above and to help resolve the manpower shortages of local companies.
To support the reemployment of the middle-aged and alleviate the workforce shortage of companies, 24 companies including Tteokpanensaramdeul Co., Ltd., Jalmanjeonggong Co., Ltd., and Hyobit Home Care Center will conduct on-site interviews to hire for positions such as production workers, HR and general affairs, social workers, security guards, and assistants for people with disabilities.
The fair will not only feature recruitment activities but also offer various side events to help job seekers prepare for employment. Resume consulting, free ID photo shoots, and National Pension consultations will be provided.
Job seekers wishing to participate in on-site interviews on the day of the event can bring their resume and ID. They can fill out a job application on-site or pre-register as a job seeker on Goyong24 (formerly Worknet) for a smoother interview process.
Since 2010, Daegu Dalseo-gu has been striving to connect local jobs and revitalize the economy through regular job fairs and monthly 'Job Matching Days.' Starting with this middle-aged job fair, customized fairs for people with disabilities are also scheduled for September and November this year.
Lee Taehun, Mayor of Daegu Dalseo-gu, stated, "We are holding this job fair to expand employment opportunities for the middle-aged and provide stable jobs," and added, "I hope many middle-aged job seekers will find the jobs they desire."
