World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who is aiming to defend his title at the Masters, will start the tournament in a group with Justin Thomas (both from the United States) and last year's US Amateur Championship winner Jose Luis Ballester (Spain).
World No. 2 Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), who needs to complete the final piece of his career Grand Slam at the Masters, will be grouped with World No. 5 Ludvig Aberg (Sweden) and Akshay Bhatia (United States), who has two PGA Tour wins.
2023 champion Jon Rahm (Spain) has been paired with Wyndham Clark (United States) and Tommy Fleetwood (England).
