Benefits Provided to Both Existing and New Sellers Until Year-End
Full Service Fee Waiver for a Limited Time Depending on Registration Period
Gmarket announced on the 9th that it will conduct a promotion to inform sellers about the guaranteed delivery service 'Star Delivery'.
First, to activate the Star Delivery service, it will fully support the logistics storage fees at the Dongtan Logistics Center. Existing sellers can be exempted from the basic storage fee for normal inventory. New sellers can receive full support for storage fees for up to six months after product registration. This benefit applies until December 31.
There is also a benefit that reduces the usage fee for the guaranteed delivery service. Existing Star Delivery sellers will receive full support for the usage fee until June 30. New sellers are fully exempted until the 31st of next month. Additionally, depending on the registration period, up to 100% usage fee reduction is possible until June.
Furthermore, if sellers use the 'Milk Run Pickup Service,' which helps quickly stock products at the Star Delivery logistics center, both existing and new sellers will receive 20% support on the service usage fee. The application period is until December 31 and applies when picking up and stocking at least five boxes. The usage fee for 'Cold Storage Fulfillment' for sellers selling refrigerated products is also reduced. This benefit is provided until June 30.
Meanwhile, Star Delivery operated by Gmarket is a service that guarantees 100% on-time delivery, promising delivery on the date agreed with the purchasing customer. Since January this year, by applying CJ Logistics' 'Everyday O-NE' service as is, Star Delivery has also started Sunday delivery, providing a 7-day-a-week service. Star Delivery applies to about 150,000 products in 14 categories stocked at the Dongtan Logistics Center owned by Gmarket.
