Songpa-gu (Mayor Seo Gang-seok) will hold a special lecture on study methods for parents by inviting the famous education influencer 'Bundanggangssaem' at 10 a.m. on the 14th in the district office auditorium.
As domestic private education expenses in 2024 have reached an all-time high, the district has been providing high-quality educational information necessary for parents in the form of special lectures since last year.
Throughout last year, education experts delivered the latest information in various fields such as study methods, reading, English, Korean, and AI over five sessions, receiving enthusiastic responses.
The first parent special lecture of this year will be held under the theme "Special Turnaround Study Methods of Ordinary Children," with instructor Kang Ju-hee, known as 'Bundanggangssaem,' taking the microphone. She is the head of a college entrance exam specialized academy that has produced perfect scorers in Korean every year for 16 years, a YouTuber with 220,000 subscribers, the number one education influencer on the online education platform Class101 for six consecutive weeks, and the author of the best-selling elementary education book, among other impressive titles.
In the lecture, she will passionately deliver lessons based on her firsthand experience and rapidly changing entrance exam information, covering ▲common traits of students who achieved remarkable grade improvements with ordinary study abilities and environments ▲study secrets that are ordinary but yield special results ▲analysis of the changing college entrance system in 2028.
The special lecture is expected to be a valuable opportunity for parents who feel burdened and anxious about their children's education to learn practical and proper educational guidance methods and resolve their usual concerns and questions.
The target audience is parents with elementary and middle school children, and there is no separate fee. For parents who cannot attend, the district will provide a recorded video of the lecture later through the 'Songparun YouTube' channel.
