Heungkuk Life Insurance achieved an integrated championship (1st place in the regular season and championship final victory) for the first time in 6 seasons. This is the 5th championship, the most in the professional women's volleyball league.
Kim Yeon-koung, who is retiring after this season, ends her career holding the V-League championship trophy for the first time in 16 years.
On the 8th, Heungkuk Life Insurance won the championship by defeating Jeong Kwan Jang 3-2 (26-24, 26-24, 24-26, 23-25, 15-13) in the 5th game of the professional volleyball Dodram 2024-2025 V-League women's championship final held at Samsan World Gymnasium in Incheon.
Heungkuk Life Insurance won the 1st and 2nd games held in Incheon but lost the 3rd and 4th games held in Daejeon. However, they returned home and celebrated the championship in front of a full house.
Heungkuk Life Insurance claimed their 5th championship following the 2005-2006, 2006-2007, 2008-2009, and 2018-2019 seasons. This is their 4th integrated championship (2005-2006, 2006-2007, 2018-2019, 2024-2025). Heungkuk Life Insurance holds the record for the most women's championship final wins and integrated championships.
