Former Reform New Party leader Heo Eun-ah's injunction request to halt the effect of the party member recall vote was not accepted in the appellate court either.
The Civil Division 25-2 of the Seoul High Court (Presiding Judges Hwang Byung-ha, Jeong Jong-gwan, Lee Kyun-yong) dismissed Heo's appeal on the decision to reject the injunction to suspend the effect of the Reform New Party member recall vote on the 8th.
Earlier in January, the Reform New Party decided to remove Heo from her leadership position based on the results of the party member recall vote. In response, Heo filed for an injunction to suspend the effect.
However, in February, the Civil Division 51 of the Seoul Southern District Court (Presiding Judge Kim Woo-hyun) ruled, "Considering Heo's violation of the party constitution and the party's autonomy, the party member recall resolution is valid," and dismissed the injunction request.
