The Joint Chiefs of Staff announced on the 8th at around 5 p.m. that about 10 North Korean soldiers crossed the Military Demarcation Line (MDL) in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) on the eastern front and moved northward.
Our military issued warning broadcasts and warning shots, after which the North Korean soldiers moved northward.
The Joint Chiefs stated, "Our military is closely monitoring the movements of the North Korean soldiers and taking necessary measures according to operational procedures."
