On the 9th, Gwangju and Jeonnam will start the day with sunshine, but it is advised to carry an umbrella. The weather will turn cloudy from the afternoon, and spring rain is expected overnight. Morning temperatures will drop to around 5 degrees Celsius, making it chilly, and there will be a significant difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures.

According to the Gwangju Meteorological Administration, the region will initially be on the edge of a high-pressure system moving eastward over the southern seas of Japan, but from the afternoon, it will come under the influence of a trough approaching from the vicinity of Shandong Peninsula, China. Due to this, 5 to 20 mm of rain is forecast for Gwangju and Jeonnam from late afternoon until the early morning of the 10th.

Morning lows will be around 2 degrees in Jangheung, 3 degrees in Boseong, Yeongam, Haenam, and Hampyeong, 4 degrees in Yeonggwang, Jangseong, Damyang, Gurye, Hwasun, Muan, Jindo, Gangjin, and Goheung, 5 degrees in Mokpo and Shinan, 6 degrees in Wando and Suncheon, 7 degrees in Gwangju and Gwangyang, and 9 degrees in Yeosu.

Daytime highs will be 21 degrees in Gwangju, Yeonggwang, Jangseong, Damyang, Gokseong, Gurye, Hampyeong, Naju, and Hwasun; 20 degrees in Muan, Yeongam, Haenam, and Gangjin; 19 degrees in Gwangyang, Suncheon, Jangheung, Mokpo, and Wando; and 18 degrees in Jindo, Shinan, Boseong, and Goheung, which is lower than the previous day.

Waves on the West and South Sea coasts will be around 0.5 meters. Fine and ultrafine dust levels are expected to be 'moderate'.
