Jeonju University (President Park Jinbae) is seeing its 'Star Garden', a beloved resting spot for local residents and students, emerging as a new regional attraction.
According to Jeonju University on the 8th, Star Garden is an eco-friendly garden created by utilizing unused land within the campus. It features a variety of seasonal flowers, including canola flowers and moss phlox, offering the beauty of nature in the heart of the city.
Recently, nighttime lighting has been installed at Star Garden, allowing visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery not only during the day but also at night, providing both tranquility and relaxation.
Additionally, Jeonju University keeps its parking lot open at all times, ensuring excellent accessibility. The walking paths in Star Garden are designed for visitors to conveniently explore the garden, and benches and tables placed throughout provide spaces for rest and appreciation of the surroundings.
President Park Jinbae stated, "We plan to continue maintaining Star Garden so that it can remain an open space shared with the local community," adding, "With the installation of nighttime lighting, I hope more citizens can enjoy the beauty of the garden and experience the romance of nature in Star Garden filled with canola flowers."
Meanwhile, Jeonju University’s campus is not only home to Star Garden but also features beautiful cherry blossom and azalea paths throughout, attracting visitors every year who come to enjoy the beauty of nature.
