The Chungnam Provincial Police Agency announced that on the morning of the 8th, it conducted a campaign to prevent traffic law violations and promote safe driving for "two-wheeled vehicles" such as bicycles and motorcycles at 15 locations in the province, including the intersection in front of the agency building.
On this day, the police mobilized traffic and local officers, as well as the mobile patrol unit, throughout the province and detected a total of 132 traffic violations, including 31 cases in Seobuk, Cheonan.
In addition, in cooperation with the provincial government, the Provincial Office of Education, and Green Mothers, the police distributed leaflets on two-wheeled vehicle traffic safety and promotional materials, urging safe driving.
A police official said, "When operating two-wheeled vehicles, please make sure to wear a helmet, obey traffic signals, and refrain from riding on sidewalks, and join in establishing a culture of complying with traffic laws."
