Vice Mayor Lee Jaehun Inspects 15 Project Sites
Checks Progress and Identifies Issues for Each Initiative
Yeongju City visited major project sites from the 7th to the 8th to inspect the status and issues of projects aimed at improving citizens' quality of life and promoting sustainable urban development.
This inspection focused on key projects that Yeongju City is prioritizing, particularly those closely related to citizens' daily lives, with the goal of identifying potential issues in the implementation process in advance and preparing measures to minimize inconvenience to residents.
Vice Mayor Lee Jaehun visited a total of 15 project sites, including the Station Area Parking Tower, New Village Project, The Eum Community Center construction, Population Vitality Center, Sangmang-dong Our Neighborhood Revitalization Project, Agricultural Machinery Rental Business Hub Center construction, and the Local Vitality Town candidate site. He thoroughly inspected the progress of each project, on-site safety management, and civil complaints.
In particular, Vice Mayor Lee emphasized the importance of meticulous management to ensure both progress and safety of each project, as well as minimizing inconvenience to citizens caused by construction. He also stressed the need for practical improvements through communication with on-site personnel.
Vice Mayor Lee Jaehun stated, "Based on my extensive administrative experience, I will do my best to ensure that each project proceeds smoothly," adding, "I am committed to resolving citizens' inconveniences and creating a better living environment."
Since being appointed as acting mayor on March 13 following the vacancy of the mayoral office, Vice Mayor Lee Jaehun has been directly overseeing major city issues to minimize any gaps in municipal administration.
