Yeongyang County and Wando County are both member cities of the International Cittaslow network, and this delivery of relief supplies is seen as a prime example of putting the values of nature and community into practice, demonstrating the spirit of mutual cooperation between regions.

On April 7, Wando County delivered 3,600 cups of "Seaweed Noodles" instant ramen, featuring the taste of the sea, to Yeongyang County. These supplies are scheduled to be distributed promptly to the wildfire victims who are experiencing difficulties in their daily lives.

County Governor Oh Dochang expressed, "We deeply appreciate the heartfelt support from Wando County," and added, "The warm solidarity shown through our connection as Cittaslow cities is providing great comfort to the affected residents. Our county will also do our utmost for swift recovery and support."

This donation of relief supplies is a clear example of how bonds and cooperation between local governments continue even in times of disaster, reminding us once again of the importance of community strength.
