Yeongju Launches Card Fee Support Program for Small Business Owners

Up to 1 Million KRW for Small Businesses
with Annual Sales Under 400 Million KRW

Yeongju City will implement the 'Small Business Credit Card Fee Support Program' starting from the 8th until the budget is exhausted.

This program is a policy aimed at alleviating the management burden for small businesses with annual sales of 400 million KRW or less in 2024, by reimbursing 0.5% to 1.1% of their credit card sales for the same year. The support amount ranges from a minimum of 100,000 KRW to a maximum of 1,000,000 KRW per business.

Certain conditions may exclude applicants from eligibility. Excluded businesses include: △those whose business registration address is not in Yeongju City △those with no credit card sales in the previous year △those who closed their business before January 1, 2025 △unregistered businesses △businesses with incomplete tax filings △businesses unable to use a bank account under the owner's name △and certain restricted industries such as entertainment, gambling, gaming, and speculation-related businesses.

Small business owners wishing to apply should prepare a copy of their business registration certificate and bank account, and apply online through the Card Fee Support Program application site (haengbokcard.kr).

If online application is difficult, applicants can visit the nearest Eup, Myeon, or Dong Administrative Welfare Center or the Northern Branch of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Economic Promotion Agency to apply in person. Applications will be processed in the order of online registration. After applying, eligibility will be reviewed, and the support funds will be deposited into the business owner's account within 30 days from the date of application.
