Seasonal Special Courses and Customized Tours Introduced
Daejeon City announced that it will launch the newly revamped '2025 Daejeon City Tour' starting from the 8th.
This renewal reflects diverse preferences and seasonal characteristics of visitors, offering tourism programs that anyone can easily and enjoyably participate in.
This year, the Daejeon City Tour will be operated in three formats: Regular Tours, Special Tours, and Customized Tours.
The Regular Tour consists of the 'Masil Course,' which circles major tourist attractions in Daejeon and passes through Daejeon Hanwha Life Ballpark, and the 'Weekend Picnic,' where participants visit bakeries and popular restaurants before enjoying a picnic in nature. The 'Masil Course' runs from Tuesday to Sunday each week, while the 'Weekend Picnic' operates on Saturdays and Sundays. However, the Regular Tour will be suspended during the peak summer months of July and August.
The Special Tour, featuring seasonal themes, offers unique programs to experience Daejeon's tourism resources in new ways. In spring, a tour combining the 'Vincent van Gogh Exhibition' held in Daejeon and major city landmarks will be conducted, adding an artistic touch to the experience.
The 'Bread City Tour,' held on Saturdays in July and August, is linked with the Zero O'Clock Festival and takes participants on a gourmet journey through popular bakeries in Daejeon's five districts, sharing local flavors and stories. Other programs tailored to the seasons, such as the 'Art Course' and 'Forest Stay,' will also be offered.
From October to early November, the 'Music Bus' will operate every Saturday. This course tours Daejeon's nightscape hotspots with a lively music DJ, allowing participants to enjoy outdoor music recreation as well.
The city plans to boost awareness and participation in the Daejeon City Tour through promotional videos created and distributed by influencers, as well as practical and stylish souvenir marketing.
Lee Jangwoo, Mayor of Daejeon, stated, "The Daejeon City Tour is not just a simple bus tour, but an important tourism platform that introduces the face of Daejeon," adding, "We will continue to promote Daejeon's unique charm nationwide through upgraded course development and differentiated planning."
