The Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology at Tongmyong University (President: Lee Sangcheon) held a Mind Health Campaign on June 5 in the area around Centum Middle School to raise awareness of the importance of mental health in the local community.

Youths and adults of various ages participated in this campaign, which aimed to help individuals understand their emotions, relieve stress, and practice mindfulness.

Seon Junsu, a student from the Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology who participated in the activity, shared, "It was a great opportunity to reflect on our own mental health."

Kim Minjeong, head of the department, stated, "As this is a time when mental health and mindfulness due to social anxiety are more important than ever, it was rewarding to share experiences related to our field of study with local residents. We will continue to promote mental health campaigns in the future."

The Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology at Tongmyong University trains experts in counseling and clinical fields based on psychology, offering a curriculum that covers counseling for children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly from a lifespan perspective. In particular, the department operates an integrated bachelor's and master's program and manages the Jung-gu Mental Health Welfare Center, striving to produce professionals in counseling and clinical psychology.
