At Yongin YMCA, as a result of a hazardous substance survey on children's dolls sold on the market, phthalate-based plasticizers that can cause damage to the liver and other organs exceeded safety standards by 5 to 321 times. Voluntary disposal and recall measures were requested from the manufacturers and sellers of the products, and the investigation results were delivered to the Korea Consumer Agency, Korea Testing & Research Institute, and National Institute of Technology and Standards.

In addition, the Gyeonggi Province Consumer Organizations Council supported 7 companies in obtaining Consumer Centered Management (CCM) certification by providing pre-management diagnosis, employee education, consulting, and pre-mock inspections for small and medium-sized enterprises and public institutions in the province.
