The Korea Rail Network Authority announced that it will participate in the relay campaign to prevent falls at railway construction sites from the 7th to the 11th.
This campaign is part of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's measures to prevent falls at construction sites, with 15 public institutions and construction companies affiliated with the Construction Association participating until July. Lee Seong-hae, Chairman of the Rail Network Authority, and executives plan to visit construction sites with a high risk of falls to inspect the installation status of safety facilities and the wearing of protective gear by workers.

The Authority stated that it will install 1,179 fall hazard signs, 380 safety nameplate signs, and 430 fall prevention slogan banners so that on-site workers can easily recognize dangerous areas. They also plan to strengthen the safety culture on site by providing safety education to 13,630 workers. Chairman Lee Seong-hae said, "We will continuously inspect railway construction sites and do our best to prevent all safety accidents, including falls."
