Hampyeong County in Jeollanam-do announced on the 7th that it is recruiting tourism businesses for the Digital Tourism Resident Card program, which offers various discount benefits to tourists.
The Digital Tourism Resident Card is a program jointly promoted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization. When tourists are issued a digital honorary resident card, they can receive various discounts in the local area.
The recruitment targets are tourism-related businesses located in Hampyeong County, such as accommodations, food and beverage, shopping, sightseeing, and experience businesses. Participating businesses set their own discount standards and provide preferential benefits to tourists holding the Digital Tourism Resident Card.
