Jangheung County Holds Meeting of the Integrated Medicine Expo Promotion Committee

To Be Held for Five Days Starting September 26

Jangheung County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Sung) announced on the 7th that a meeting of the Organizing Committee for the ‘2025 Korea Integrative Medicine Expo’ was held on the 4th at the Jangheung Integrative Medicine Convention Center, attended by 13 committee members as well as officials from Jeollanam-do and the county.

The 2025 Korea Integrative Medicine Expo, co-hosted by Jeollanam-do and Jangheung County, will be held for five days from September 26 to 30 at the International Integrative Medicine Expo Center in Anyang-myeon, Jangheung County.

At the meeting, committee members for 2025 were appointed, and Lee Junghan, Director of the Jangheung Integrative Medical Hospital at Wonkwang University, was re-elected as chairperson, continuing from 2024. After the election of executives, the committee shared the basic plan for the expo and the status of recruiting agencies, followed by a discussion to gather opinions from the committee members.

In addition, there was an in-depth discussion on cooperation with related organizations, active promotion, and the expansion of diverse programs that consider both expertise and interest, all aimed at ensuring the successful hosting of the expo.

This year’s expo will feature expanded participatory experiences and healing programs, including AI-based digital healthcare advanced medical experiences, lectures by invited speakers, and the operation of the ‘Bus Trio’ such as the Jeonnam Mind Relief Bus. Through these efforts, a large number of visitors are expected, which is anticipated to have a positive impact on the local economy and tourism revitalization.

Governor Kim Sung stated, “We will develop substantial content to offer healing and relaxation to visitors to the Integrative Medicine Expo, and strive for the popularization of integrative medicine,” adding, “I ask for the active cooperation of the committee members for the successful hosting of the 2025 Korea Integrative Medicine Expo.”
