A Total of 600 Million KRW Provided for Comprehensive Health Check-ups
for Seosaeng-myeon Residents
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters (Director So Yu-seop) signed an agreement on the 7th with the Seosaeng-myeon Residents' Council (Acting Chairman Lee Jin-ho) to support a health check-up program for residents and decided to provide a total of 600 million KRW in support to improve the medical welfare of Seosaeng-myeon residents.

The health check-up program is available to residents aged 63 or older (born on or before December 31, 1963) who have lived in Seosaeng-myeon for more than 10 years. Residents who wish to participate can apply through the Seosaeng-myeon Residents' Council.
The designated hospitals are Dongnam Institute of Radiological & Medical Sciences, Ulsan Jungang Hospital, Donggang Hospital, Samjeong Hospital, Ulsan University Hospital, and Gijang Saem Hospital. Participants can choose the hospital they prefer for their check-up.
Lee Jin-ho, Acting Chairman of the Seosaeng-myeon Residents' Council, stated, "The health check-up support program is a meaningful initiative that provides real help to residents by enabling early detection and prevention of serious diseases. I hope this program will continue to be implemented in the future."
So Yu-seop, Director of Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, "I hope the health check-up support program will greatly contribute to the health management of local residents," and added, "We will continue to discover and implement good projects that local residents can truly benefit from."
From 2017 to 2023, Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters provided approximately 3.24 billion KRW in support, allowing 4,046 residents of Seosaeng-myeon to receive health check-ups.
