Youth Take Center Stage... Recruitment for Participants in the 19th Yangsan National Youth Hanmaum Festival Competition

Yangsan City in Gyeongnam will host the 19th Yangsan National Youth Harmony Festival on May 24, aiming to create a space for communication and unity where youths from across the country can take the lead, participate, and come together.

This festival is organized by Yangsan City and co-hosted by the Yangsan Youth Center and Soju Youth Culture House. With the goal of expanding cultural opportunities for youths and fostering a healthy peer culture, the event will be held under the theme "Youth, Shine Together," carrying the message that youths are the ones who illuminate each other and brighten the world.

One of the festival's main events, the National Youth Competition, will provide a stage for young people to fully showcase their talents and abilities, featuring competitions in various fields such as music, performance, and club zones (experience booths).

The finals will take place at the Yangsancheon riverside (Sapryang Culture Festival venue) in Bukbu-dong, Yangsan City, starting at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 24.

Youth teams wishing to participate must complete their applications by 6:00 PM on April 22. Preliminary screening through video and documents will be conducted for the registered teams from April 23 to 30. The teams advancing to the finals will be announced on May 2, and more details can be found in the notices on the "Yangsan Youth Plaza" website.

The National Youth Competition is more than just a performance contest; it aims to promote cultural exchange and a culture of voluntary participation among youths nationwide.

The festival will also feature a variety of programs, including a commemorative ceremony, experience booths, and celebratory performances. The ceremony will include commendations for distinguished contributors and the reading of the Youth Charter.

In addition, experience booths introducing youth-related organizations and cultural content will be set up throughout the event area, creating a festive atmosphere that both participants and visitors can enjoy together.
