Busan Bank, 200 Billion Special Loan for Local Investment Companies

BNK Busan Bank announced on the 7th that it will implement the "Busan City Investment Companies and Returning Companies Special Loan" to revitalize the Busan regional economy and attract companies within the region.

The target companies for this special loan are "investment companies or prospective investment companies within Busan" that have relocated their business sites to Busan City or are in the process of planning or constructing research and development (R&D) centers or factories. Companies residing (or planning to reside) in the Opportunity Development Zone of the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam (Bu-Ul-Gyeong) region, as well as returning companies preparing to come back to the Bu-Ul-Gyeong region, are also included in the special loan support targets.

This special loan, prepared with a scale of 200 billion KRW, will be supported up to a maximum limit of 10 billion KRW per company. To reduce the financial burden on the supported companies, an interest rate discount benefit of up to 1.60 percentage points will also be provided.

Kang Seok-rae, Head of Corporate Customer Group at Busan Bank, said, "For the regional economy to take off again, it is important to attract healthy companies to the region and create an environment where they can settle stably. Busan Bank will actively support the attracted companies to firmly establish their roots in the region, and through this, lead the sustainable growth and development of the regional economy."
