Selected as Recipients of the 2025 Ulju County Entrepreneur Award
Ulsan Ulju County has selected Moon Do, CEO of Shinil PNS, and Kang Shinwook, CEO of Smart Electronics, as the recipients of the '2025 Ulju County Entrepreneur Award'.
Every year, Ulju County presents the Entrepreneur Award to local small and medium-sized business owners to boost their management motivation and morale. The award is divided into two categories: revitalization of the local economy and social volunteer activities, with companies or entrepreneurs selected as recipients in each category.
Previously, on the 3rd, Ulju County held the 2nd Ulju County Business Support Committee meeting and, after deliberation, decided on this year's awardees. △ In the Local Economy category, Moon Do, CEO of Shinil PNS, was selected, and △ in the Industrial Peace category, Kang Shinwook, CEO of Smart Electronics, was chosen.
Moon Do, CEO of Shinil PNS, who was selected for the Local Economy Award, manufactures industrial packaging materials and has focused on establishing a technical research institute and developing environmentally friendly new technologies, obtaining 12 patents and 2 utility models, and achieving annual sales of 80 billion KRW. In addition, by constructing a new factory, expanding investment, and hiring local residents, he contributed to the development of the local economy and job creation.

Kang Shinwook, CEO of Smart Electronics, who was selected for the Industrial Peace Award, operates a company that manufactures electronic resistors and electronic cards. He has contributed to community harmony by participating in helping the underprivileged during holidays and year-end, engaging in quarterly environmental clean-up activities, belonging to local organizations, and supporting the underprivileged through sharing and volunteer work.
He also actively encouraged a unified salary system for men and women, fostered female managers, and promoted paternity leave for male employees, earning the Family-Friendly Company Certification from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, and contributing to gender equality and work-life balance.

Furthermore, to establish a corporate safety culture, he has conducted regular safety training and on-site inspections, maintaining a record of zero accidents at the workplace to date. By introducing an eco-friendly management system, he has led the way in energy saving and minimizing environmental pollution, setting an example for others.
The Ulju County Entrepreneur Award will be presented at the 34th Ulju County Residents' Day ceremony to be held at Onyang Sports Park on the 19th.
