Applications accepted until April 22... Up to 1 million KRW awarded for outstanding proposals
Seeking ideas in various fields including welfare, jobs and economy, and everyday regulations
Yeongdeungpo-gu (District Mayor Choi Ho-kwon) announced that it will hold an "Idea Contest" until the 22nd to improve everyday inconveniences and unnecessary regulations.
Ideas that can resolve elements causing inconvenience in daily life or excessive regulations in laws and ordinances in various fields such as ▲resident welfare ▲jobs and economy ▲living regulations are being accepted. Not only residents but anyone interested in district administration can participate.
Proposals can be easily submitted through the QR code on the poster, and can also be submitted via the district website's Resident Participation - Resident Proposal board, the National Idea Platform, email, or by visiting the local community service center.
The district will fairly evaluate the submitted ideas based on ▲feasibility ▲creativity ▲efficiency and effectiveness ▲scope of application ▲continuity, and select winners in the categories of Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Encouragement Awards. Prize money of 1,000,000 KRW for Gold, 500,000 KRW for Silver, 300,000 KRW for Bronze, and 200,000 KRW for Encouragement will be awarded, and if there are no outstanding proposals, the number of awards and prize money may be adjusted.
In particular, excellent proposals that are adopted will be actively reflected in district ordinances, rules, and administrative procedures, and will be recommended to higher and related institutions to ensure practical regulatory improvements that residents can feel, with continuous monitoring planned.

The "Free Shuttle Bus Operation for Yeongdeungpo-gu Reserve Forces Training Center" is a representative case where residents' ideas were reflected in policy, promoted based on a young person's suggestion, benefiting all reserve forces in the area.
