Held a Meeting with Chairperson Son Taehwa
to Discuss Pending Issues
Jang Geumyong, Acting Mayor of Changwon Special City, held an emergency meeting with Son Taehwa, Chairperson of the Changwon Special City Council, to discuss the future direction of city administration and major pending issues.
At the meeting held on the 4th, Acting Mayor Jang stated, "This is a crucial time when close cooperation with the city council and communication and collaboration on major policies are more important than ever to minimize administrative gaps and ensure stable city operations." She requested the city council's active support and cooperation to ensure the smooth progress of key projects.
In response, Chairperson Son Taehwa said, "As the city council represents the citizens, we will actively cooperate with the executive branch to prevent any inconveniences in citizens' daily lives and spare no effort to support and prevent any administrative vacuum."
Meanwhile, since April 3, the city has been operating under the system of the First Vice Mayor acting as mayor due to the vacancy of the mayoral position. To ensure stable city administration and strengthen momentum, the city plans to enhance cooperation not only with the city council but also with other representative bodies such as the provincial council and the National Assembly.
