At around 1:46 a.m. on the 6th, a fire broke out in the ground parking lot of a frozen food handling company in Sannam-dong, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, burning a refrigerated truck.

As a result of the fire, 2 out of 3 refrigerated trucks weighing 0.5 tons parked there were completely destroyed, and 1 truck was partially burned. The fire caused an estimated damage of about 94 million KRW, according to the fire department.
Additionally, 3 refrigerated trucks nearby suffered heat damage, with some parts of their vehicle sides melting. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
According to the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters, the fire authorities received a report of the fire early that morning and deployed 18 pieces of equipment and 47 personnel, extinguishing the fire at around 2:46 a.m., about an hour after the fire started.

The police and fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire, estimating that it was triggered by electrical factors based on the fact that the refrigerated trucks were parked with electric cables connected after work.
