The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters dispatched initial response teams to each farm to control access, carry out culling, and conduct epidemiological investigations.

To prevent the spread of AI and enable early detection of infected animals, detailed inspections will be conducted on poultry farms within the quarantine zones (40 farms in Asan and 29 farms in Cheongju), as well as farms and facilities visited by visitors and vehicles that entered the affected farms.

Additionally, the period until the 11th has been designated as the 'Nationwide Disinfection Week,' during which livestock facilities and vehicles will be disinfected.
