Democratic Party: "Prosecutors Must Immediately Re-Arrest Yoon Seok-yeol and Summon Kim Geon-hee" [Yoon Seok-yeol Dismissal]

The Democratic Party of Korea emphasized on the 5th that the prosecution should "immediately re-arrest Yoon Seok-yeol and summon Kim Geon-hee."

No Jong-myeon, the Democratic Party's floor spokesperson, stated in a written briefing that "The dismissal of the traitor Yoon Seok-yeol has been decided. However, a proper investigation has not even begun," and asserted, "The start of normalizing the investigation is the re-arrest of Yoon Seok-yeol and the summoning of Kim Geon-hee."

No, the floor spokesperson, said, "Yesterday (the 4th), the Constitutional Court ruling clearly confirmed that Yoon Seok-yeol's acts of rebellion were unconstitutional and illegal from beginning to end," and added, "It is only natural that the prosecution immediately proceed with Yoon Seok-yeol's re-arrest."

He criticized, "However, they remain silent as if they have swallowed honey. There is not even a minimal apology," and asked, "Is the prosecution perhaps contemplating some legal trick like in March this time? Or have they not been able to abandon the nature of being henchmen of the traitor?"

He continued, "There is another example of the prosecution's lawless behavior. Despite abundant evidence and suspicions, they used legal tactics to dismiss charges against Kim Geon-hee," and pointed out, "They handled the Deutsche Motors stock manipulation case arbitrarily."

He then emphasized, "As a result, on the 3rd, the Supreme Court confirmed the guilt of Chairman Kwon Oh-soo and Mr. Son from Jeonju, yet Kim Geon-hee has still not undergone a proper summons investigation," and stressed, "The prosecution should stop scheming and immediately re-arrest Yoon Seok-yeol. Kim Geon-hee should also be banned from leaving the country and summoned immediately."
