Moon Hyung-bae, Acting Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court, expressed gratitude to various sectors for the smooth conclusion of the impeachment trial procedure against former President Yoon Seok-yeol.

On the afternoon of the 5th, Acting Chief Justice Moon conveyed through the Constitutional Court press office, "I thank the journalists who provided faithful coverage to ensure the impeachment trial proceeded smoothly, and the police riot squad members who guaranteed the safety of the Constitutional Court."


He also added, "I would like to emphasize that the dedicated constitutional researchers and passionate administrative staff contributed significantly to the seamless completion of the impeachment trial."


The Constitutional Court unanimously dismissed former President Yoon the previous day. Throughout the impeachment trial, the police supported the personal security of the justices and guarded the surroundings of the Constitutional Court.


Meanwhile, with the conclusion of the impeachment trial against former President Yoon, the Constitutional Court ended the operation of the permanent briefing room (press conference room) set up in the annex on the same day.
