Kimcheon Mayor Bae Nakho visited the Kimcheon branch of the Korean Senior Citizens Association to offer his greetings upon taking office and to listen to key issues related to the welfare of the elderly. By explaining the direction of the 8th popularly elected administration, he is taking steps to strengthen communication with the local community.

On the 4th, Mayor Bae visited the Kimcheon branch of the Korean Senior Citizens Association, where he met with Branch President Lee Buhwa, Senior Vice President Lee Inju, Kimcheon Senior College President Lee Jaeung, and others to share Kimcheon’s policy vision and core projects, and to exchange opinions on ways to expand welfare for the elderly.


This visit was arranged as part of efforts to listen to diverse voices in the community and to realize citizen-centered open administration following the launch of the 8th popularly elected administration. Mayor Bae stated, "We will strengthen welfare policies so that seniors can live in a more stable environment."


After the meeting with members of the Senior Citizens Association, Mayor Bae joined the attendees for lunch to gauge local public opinion. He emphasized, "I will listen directly to voices on the ground and reflect them in policy to bring about practical change."
