Distance is a running select shop featuring six global running brands including Ciele, 100%, and Suunto. It is a complex shopping space that sells a wide range of running-related items such as apparel, hats, watches, and shoes, providing various experiences for runners.
Considering that Jamsil is an area with optimal conditions for enjoying running, Lotte Department Store plans to make the Jamsil Branch the "holy ground of running." To this end, it has been hosting the running festival 'Style Run' since 2017. In 2022, it opened the largest domestic store of the running-specialized brand Hoka, and during this spring's regular sale period, it held the 'Jamsil Morning City Run' running class and conducted limited sales of popular running shoes.
This pop-up store is characterized by showcasing products that combine fashion and lifestyle. The representative brand Ciele, which started in Montreal, Canada, will unveil the entire 2025 S/S season apparel collection for the first time at this pop-up and sell a limited edition 'Seoul Edition' hat. The American global sports brand 100% will present popular sunglasses lineups such as Lezyne and Hypercraft.
Various events will be held to celebrate the pop-up opening. Depending on the brand, discounts of up to 20% on all items will be offered. The 'Jamsil Running Session,' which runners can participate in, will be held twice on the 12th and 19th.
Son Sang-hoon, head of the Golf & Athleisure team at Lotte Department Store, said, "We expect the running boom to continue not only domestically but globally for the time being," adding, "We plan to continuously expand running-related content so that the Jamsil Branch can become a sanctuary for runners."
