Selected as 'Agency of the Year' by Campaign US
U.S. subsidiary achieves milestone in 10 years
Outstanding results with data-driven strategies
Innocean's U.S. subsidiary, 'Canvas Worldwide,' has been selected as Media Agency of the Year.
Innocean announced on the 7th that its media agency Canvas was named 'Media Agency of the Year' by Campaign US, a global advertising and marketing trade publication. Campaign US annually selects winners based on industry leadership, business performance, and organizational culture through evaluations of individuals and agencies. The judging panel includes marketers from major brands and independent journalists, making the process known for its fairness and rigor.
This year, Canvas was recognized as Media Agency of the Year for its data-driven strategies, innovative media solutions, and outstanding client results. In particular, its ability to deliver results through client-tailored strategies received high praise.
Canvas is credited with driving seven consecutive years of growth for the Kia brand and achieving record sales in the U.S. for six models. Notably, it contributed to Genesis entering the top 10 luxury brands within six years of its launch. The largest online real estate platform in the U.S., Zillow, also saw a 13% increase in revenue year-over-year in the first quarter of collaboration with Canvas.
Canvas was established in 2015 as a joint venture (JV) between Innocean and Horizon Media, an independent U.S. media agency. In 2022, Innocean acquired 100% ownership of Canvas. Currently, it operates primarily in Los Angeles and New York, with additional offices in major cities such as Chicago, Dallas, Denver, and Atlanta. It is also preparing to expand into the Americas, including Canada, Mexico, and Brazil, as well as the Indian market.
Paul Wilmington, CEO of Canvas, stated, "Under the mission to challenge familiarity, we strive daily to break old molds and improve in better directions," adding, "We will continue to be a company that grows and innovates continuously."
