Reorganization of the Existing Livelihood Stabilization Task Force... Launch of the 'Livelihood Stabilization and Community Integration Task Force' with Four Teams
▲ Emergency Measures for Small Business Owners and the Local Economy ▲ Timely Restrictions Related to Elections ▲ Establishment of Work Discipline and More Discussed
Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) is addressing the unstable local economy and unsettled public sentiment following the impeachment trial verdict, and will steadily advance district administrative tasks without wavering.
At the emergency livelihood stabilization countermeasure meeting convened at 2 p.m. on the 4th, key executives including Mayor Park Jun-hee attended to discuss measures such as ▲the formation and operation of the Livelihood Stabilization and Community Integration Task Force (tentative name) ▲emergency countermeasures for small business owners and self-employed livelihood economy ▲timely restrictions related to the presidential election ▲establishment of public officials’ work discipline, and other livelihood stabilization response plans both inside and outside the district office.
First, the district will reorganize the Gwanak-gu Livelihood Stabilization Task Force, which has been operating since December last year, to form the ‘Livelihood Stabilization and Community Integration Task Force’ (hereafter, the Task Force).
The Task Force, led by the Deputy Mayor as its head, will consist of four teams: ▲Local Administration Team ▲Local Economy Team ▲Vulnerable Groups Support Team ▲Safety Management Team. Each team will establish a system to promote livelihood stabilization measures and will focus all efforts on community integration.
Amid a 2% rise in consumer prices for three consecutive months and an unstable political situation, the district will support the management stability of small business owners through a ‘special contribution to credit guarantee funds’ to help revive the local commercial districts.
Going forward, the district plans to steadily implement initiatives such as the ‘Alleyway Commercial District Revitalization Festival’ and ‘expanded tailored support for traditional markets’ to promote consumption, attract visitors, and provide diverse support to small business owners and the self-employed.
On this day, Mayor Park Jun-hee shared key timely restrictions in preparation for the presidential by-election, urging the establishment of public service discipline and strict compliance with the Public Official Election Act.
Mayor Park Jun-hee stated, “As the national situation has changed, we will review and reorganize livelihood stabilization measures to take even more meticulous care of the public’s livelihood. Gwanak-gu will concentrate all administrative power on implementing livelihood stabilization measures as a strong pillar that safely protects the local community.”
