After Non-stop Passage at Hangangjin Station on Line 6 for Crowd Control, All Entrances and Exits Fully Closed
Depending on the Situation, Non-stop Passage and Entrance Control May Be Implemented at 14 Stations Including Hangangjin Area Besides Anguk Station
Seoul Metro announced that starting from 9 a.m. on the 4th, it conducted non-stop passage through Hangangjin Station on Line 6 to prepare for crowd congestion, and subsequently implemented a full closure of all entrances and exits at Hangangjin Station.
Previously, to manage the crowd, the company had enforced non-stop passage and entrance control from 9 a.m. However, as the gathering crowd moved near the presidential residence, it decided to fully close all station entrances and exits for safety reasons.
Meanwhile, from the first train on the 4th, Anguk Station on Line 3 completed non-stop passage and full closure of all entrances and exits. Additionally, at 14 stations including Hangangjin Station besides Anguk Station, non-stop passage and entrance blocking and control measures supported by police personnel may be implemented as needed to prevent safety accidents.
