Kyungnam University Accepting Entries for the 6th 3.15 Youth Literature Award Until May 23

The 3.15 Youth Literature Award was established in 2020 to honor the spirit of the 3.15 Uprising, the first democratization movement in modern Korean history, and has since provided a platform for outstanding young literature every year. The award is co-hosted by Kyungnam University and the 3.15 Uprising Memorial Association, and organized by the Kyungnam University Press.

The competition is open to all university students nationwide, including those on leave of absence, in the categories of poetry, short stories, and fairy tales. For the poetry category, participants may submit 3 to 5 poems of any length. For the short story category, one piece of approximately 70 manuscript pages (based on 200 characters per page) should be submitted. For the fairy tale category, one piece of approximately 30 manuscript pages (based on 200 characters per page) should be submitted.

The submission period is from May 19 to 23, and entries can be submitted either by registered mail or in person. All works must follow a designated format, so participants are advised to check the general notices on the Kyungnam University website before submitting.
