Discussion on Sharing Education Policies and Strategies for Educational Cooperation
Chungnam Office of Education held the Chungnam Happy Education District Policy Sharing Session for sustainable future education.
On the morning of the 4th, the Chungnam Provincial Office of Education held the "2025 Chungnam Happy Education District Policy Sharing Meeting" at the Eunsan Village School in Buyeo, with more than 60 participants including representatives from Chungnam Province, 15 cities and counties, the provincial office of education, and 14 education support offices in attendance.
During this policy sharing meeting, local governments and education offices discussed sustainable future education with a focus on educational cooperation, along with an explanation of the overall education policies promoted by the Chungnam Office of Education, such as community education where schools and villages work together.
Since 2021, the Chungnam Office of Education has established the "Chungnam Future Education 2030" policy to lead the era of educational transformation, and has been promoting five major transformation tasks: curriculum, space, ecology, digital, and educational cooperation.
In particular, the "Chungnam Village Education Community Development," which brings together local governments, education offices, schools, and villages, marks its 10th year this year as a core "school innovation" policy of Superintendent Kim Jicheol.
Superintendent Kim has emphasized that the meeting of schools and villages is essentially the meeting of learning and life, and has called for cooperation among schools, education offices, local governments, and local communities so that children can learn correctly about the villages they live in from an early age and grow into local talents who contribute to regional development.
Yoon Pyojung, Director of Policy Planning at the Provincial Office of Education, said, "About 100,000 children learn and grow each year at village schools and experiential sites," and requested, "For region-based projects that balance learning and life, the education office and local governments will work together from planning to evaluation and feedback."
