POSCO E&C announced on the 4th that it plans to launch sales of the high-end residential complex "Onard Beomeo," located on the former Daegu MBC site in Beomeo-dong, Suseong-gu, Daegu, in May. Move-in is scheduled for January 2026, and the units will be supplied in a post-sale format.
"Onard Beomeo" will be developed on a scale of 5 buildings, with 6 basement floors and 33 above-ground floors. All 604 apartment units consist of large-sized units ranging from 136 to 242㎡ in exclusive area, adding rarity within Daegu. In addition, residential officetels and retail facilities will be included, creating a mixed-use residential complex.
The site is the symbolic former Daegu MBC site in Suseong-gu, located near Beomeo Station on Subway Line 2. It boasts excellent metropolitan transportation networks, being close to Dongdaegu-ro and Dalgubeol-daero, as well as Dongdaegu Station where KTX and SRT trains stop. Nearby, the planned Daegu Subway Line 4 EXCO Line’s "Venture Valley Intersection Station" is also expected.
Educational environment and living infrastructure are also strengths. Prestigious school districts such as Beomeo Elementary, Kyungshin Middle, and Kyungshin High Schools are nearby, along with the Suseong-gu Office Station academy district. Modern City Outlet, Shinsegae Department Store, and Beomeo Food Town are also close. Green spaces include Yasigol Park, and the redevelopment of the surrounding Beomeo district and the Venture Valley development are boosting the area's future value.
In particular, Onard Beomeo differentiates itself with high-end finishes and community facilities. The kitchen features Italian brand Dada, furniture by the high-end brand Armo, and bathrooms equipped with German GROHE products, all imported luxury brands. Advanced residential systems such as the "The Sharp AI Smart Home" system and an automatic food waste transport system have also been introduced.
Community facilities within the complex include Daegu’s first residents-only movie theater, and a sky community equipped with a sky lounge, fitness center, and Pilates facilities. Concierge and membership services will also be provided.
A POSCO E&C official stated, "We will introduce a high-end complex that meets Daegu’s demand for upscale housing," adding, "It will set a new standard as the highest-grade residential complex differentiated from existing aging complexes."
Meanwhile, Onard Beomeo is currently operating a private showroom called "Onard Lounge" by advance reservation. The model house is scheduled to open in May.
