On the day, Kim Yi-su, co-representative of the National Assembly's impeachment prosecution team, said, "In this prolonged unconstitutional situation that provoked the people's anger, the prosecution team and the people had to anxiously wait for the announcement date to be set," but added, "However, we have firm trust in the Constitutional Court."

Lawyer Kim pointed out that as the Constitutional Court delayed setting the announcement date, incidents such as "President Yoon's release" and "the non-appointment of nominee Justice Ma Eun-hyuk" occurred. He stated, "Although the trial concluded on February 25, a month passed without the announcement date being set," and "In the meantime, an unforeseen situation unfolded where President Yoon Suk-yeol, criminally prosecuted for the crime of rebellion leader, was released, which the public did not expect at all."

He added, "It was also unreasonable not to appoint a justice who should have been appointed at the early stage of the impeachment trial," and "Until the announcement date for such a clear case was set, numerous baseless speculations and inferences ran rampant, the people's suffering increased, and our prosecution team also went through difficult times."

Lawyer Kim also expressed trust in the Constitutional Court to deliver a 'dismissal' decision for President Yoon. He said, "Now, the time for the Constitutional Court's decision has come again," and "What the people want is not the creation of a grand legal theory, but a conclusion that is so obvious and clear."

The ruling on President Yoon's impeachment trial will begin at 11 a.m. in the Constitutional Court's grand bench courtroom. Once the decision document and the summary of the ruling are finalized, the justices will wait for the announcement in a separate waiting area near the first-floor grand bench courtroom. Then, at exactly 11 a.m., Acting Chief Justice Moon will enter the courtroom first, followed by the others in order.

For security reasons, the final signing of the decision document with the justices' names is expected to take place immediately after the announcement.
