About 50 employees and family members of the corporation removed dead trees from the pedestrian path adjacent to the headquarters in the morning and planted new street trees, while also fertilizing the existing ones.

After the tree planting event, some employees and their families moved to Muji Park near the headquarters to participate in a stream restoration activity.

The event consisted of an 'eco-friendly soil ball throwing' activity and picking up trash in the park. It was organized so that employees with young children could teach them the importance of ecological conservation efforts.

The eco-friendly soil balls are natural purifiers made by mixing EM solution, which contains beneficial microorganisms, with red clay. They help purify the water quality of rivers and streams and remove odors. This event was not just about planting trees and throwing soil balls, but was carried out as part of efforts to restore the urban ecosystem and respond to the climate crisis.

President Kim Dongseob said, "A single tree we nurture to be green, a row of street trees we carefully tend, can be the starting point for passing on a healthy planet to our children," adding, "Going forward, the corporation will actively practice ESG management that coexists with nature."
