Cheonan City to Host 'Children's Happiness Week' from May 1 to 6
Four Themed Events Including Festa, Culture, Art, and Sports Days
Cheonan City in Chungnam Province announced that it will host the 'Cheonan Children's Happiness Week' from May 1 to 6 in celebration of the 103rd Children's Day.
The event will be organized into Festa Day, Culture Day, Art Day, and Sports Day.
Festa Day will take place on May 5 at Cheonan Citizen Sports Park, featuring a Children's Day ceremony, an amusement park, children's performances, and experience booths.
Culture Day will be held from May 1 to 4 throughout Cheonan, including family movie screenings, an art contest, pizza making, and more.
Sports Day is scheduled for May 6, and the city plans to hold a soccer event in collaboration with Cheonan City FC at Cheonan Sports Complex on that day.
Among these, family movie screenings, pizza making, and the soccer event will accept advance registrations on a first-come, first-served basis from May 7 to 20, and duplicate applications will be restricted.
Mayor Park Sangdon said, "I hope this event will allow children to laugh freely and feel happiness with their families," adding, "We will thoroughly prepare so that the event can be enjoyed safely, with children's safety as our top priority."
