To Be Held Simultaneously at Eight Test Centers on the 5th
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will hold the '2025 First Elementary, Middle, and High School Equivalency Examination' at a total of eight test centers starting at 9 a.m. on the 5th.
A total of 2,396 people have applied for this exam, including 246 for the elementary level, 433 for the middle school level, and 1,717 for the high school level, which is an increase of 283 applicants compared to the first round of last year.
The exam will be conducted at Hwashin Middle School (elementary level), Mora Middle School (middle school level), and four schools for the high school level: Busan Gaeseong Middle School, Namil Middle School, Centum Middle School, and Gyeongnam Middle School. For juvenile detention center residents and inmates, the exam will be held at Busan Oryun School and Busan Correctional Institution, respectively.
Applicants can check the designated test center assignments and important notes for examinees on the website of the Office of Education.
Applicants must bring their admission ticket, ID card, a computer-marking pen (for middle and high school levels), and a black ballpoint pen (for elementary level), and enter the designated examination room by 8:30 a.m. on the day of the test.
Applicants who have requested 'accommodations for persons with disabilities' in advance will be provided with services such as a reader, a scribe, enlarged test papers, or a separate test room.
The list of successful candidates will be announced at 10 a.m. on May 8 on the Office of Education website, and the certificate awarding ceremony is scheduled to take place on May 14 at the International Conference Room of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education.
