Bangchon Credit Union in Dong-gu, Daegu carried out a sharing activity for underprivileged groups in the region to mark the winter season.
Bangchon Credit Union announced on the 3rd that it had provided 20 sets of winter blankets to the Daegu Dong-gu Council of the Bareuge Salgi Movement.
This support was carried out as part of Bangchon Credit Union's social contribution initiative, the 'On(?) Sesang Sharing Campaign.'
The 'On(?) Sesang Sharing Campaign' is a social contribution program promoted by Bangchon Credit Union to help vulnerable groups in the region. Every year, the union delivers sponsored goods and donations, striving for mutual growth with the local community.
A representative from Bangchon Credit Union said, "We prepared this with the hope of providing even a small amount of help to our neighbors in need as we approach the cold winter," and added, "We will continue to grow together with the local community through ongoing sharing activities."
Bangchon Credit Union was established in 1996 with 140 members and 320 million won in capital. Over the past 28 years, it has grown into a mid-sized union with 14,180 members and assets of 290 billion won.
With the management philosophy of being a 'union that goes together rather than alone,' Bangchon Credit Union has established itself as a stable and trustworthy financial institution rather than pursuing rapid growth.
In particular, the union operates on the principles of sincerity and honesty so that members can deposit with peace of mind, and it actively returns a portion of its profits to the local community.
