Led by the Director of Startup Policy, the delegation focused on enhancing cooperation between companies from both countries through ▲government-level policy exchanges ▲networking among startup ecosystem institutions ▲establishing a foundation for securing outstanding talent.

First, the delegation held a meeting with DPIIT to discuss the establishment of an Indian national pavilion at 'COMEUP 2025,' activation of startup exchanges between the two countries, and expanding talent participation in the Grand Challenge. DPIIT is the key agency overseeing India's startup policies.

Next, during the meeting with NSIC, they shared information on policies supporting small and medium enterprises, financing, and technological innovation systems, and explored possibilities for collaboration to enable Korean companies to enter the Indian market and participate in India's SME support programs. NSIC is a core agency leading the 'Make in India' policy and promoting the global competitiveness of small and medium enterprises.

The delegation also visited the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), a prestigious engineering institution in India, to review the current status of the software talent recruitment linkage project. Cho Kyung-won, Director of Startup Policy at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, said, "This visit to India was an opportunity to achieve practical connections and cooperation between the startup ecosystems of the two countries beyond government-level SME, venture, and startup diplomacy. We will establish a comprehensive cooperation system in terms of policy, infrastructure, and talent to promote the global co-growth of startups from both countries."
