Emphasizing Economic Revitalization,
Job Creation, and Strengthening Welfare

After his victory was confirmed, Ba shared his joy with supporters and said, "I sincerely thank the citizens for entrusting me, despite my shortcomings, with the heavy responsibility of being the mayor of Gimcheon." He added, "I will deeply engrave the citizens' choices and expectations in my heart and lead the city administration with humility."
Reflecting on his meetings with citizens during the campaign, he said, "I was once again reminded of how strong the desire is among citizens for Gimcheon to become a better place to live," and emphasized, "I will do my utmost to meet these expectations."
Ba presented his key priorities for city administration as follows: revitalizing the local economy, creating quality jobs, improving education and welfare services, and expanding cultural and sports infrastructure.
In particular, regarding the SRF (Solid Refuse Fuel) facility issue, which is a major concern for citizens, he stated, "I will prioritize citizens' health and the environment in finding solutions," and added, "I will communicate with citizens to establish sustainable and eco-friendly measures."
On economic revitalization, he said, "We will achieve tangible economic growth by attracting businesses and expanding support for small business owners, and I will spare no effort in supporting young people to realize their dreams in Gimcheon." He continued, "I will create changes that citizens can truly feel in their daily lives."
Regarding education and welfare, he promised, "We will create an educational environment where future generations can nurture their dreams and strengthen the welfare system so that all groups, from children and youth to seniors and people with disabilities, can enjoy a happy life together."
Ba emphasized, "I will be a mayor who listens to even the smallest voices of citizens and communicates with them," and added, "I will run a city administration where citizens are the true owners, and do my best to ensure Gimcheon continues to grow."
He continued, "For the future of Gimcheon, I ask for the active participation and support of the citizens," and pledged, "I will not lose my original intentions, will dedicate myself to the development of Gimcheon, and will surely live up to the citizens' expectations."
