The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on December 23 last year that it has produced an English version of the "Choreography Copyright Guide" and will distribute it worldwide three days ago.

With the global success of K-pop and the growing international interest in K-choreography, the Ministry stated that the English version of the "Choreography Copyright Guide" was created to enhance international understanding of K-choreography copyright protection and to lead international discussions on choreography copyright.

This guide is composed of ▲Understanding and utilization of choreography copyright, ▲Distinction of choreographers, ▲Copyright registration procedures, ▲Copyright infringement and remedies, and ▲Specific cases.

The Ministry plans to distribute this English version through international organization meetings and global events to promote its policies. Starting from the 7th of this month, at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights (SCCR) held in Geneva, Switzerland, the Ministry will introduce the publication of the "Choreography Copyright Guide" through a keynote speech and inform key contents of the guide through meetings with major countries such as the United States, China, and Brazil.
