From Small-Scale Festivals to Food Trucks for Local Cooperation
The 57th Student Council of Kyungnam University held the '2025 Student Council Cherry Blossom Festival' over two days from the 1st to the 2nd in the plaza in front of the main building.
This festival, held to welcome spring at Kyungnam University, which is famous as a local cherry blossom hotspot, was organized to offer both freshmen and current students the romance and memories of a beautiful campus.
The festival featured a variety of events, including small-scale performances, food booths, tarot experience booths, military corps experience and exhibition vehicles, among others. Food trucks were also arranged to promote local cooperation, which received a great response from students.
Lee Youngseop, president of the Student Council, said, "Since the slogan of this year's Student Council is 'Memory,' we prepared this event so that freshmen can remember the romance and excitement of campus life, and so that those standing at the important threshold of university life can remember a beautiful beginning. I hope this festival will be enjoyed not only by students but also by local residents, and I ask for your interest and support for the upcoming 79th anniversary Hanma Daedong Festival in May."
