About 70 people, including more than 50 staff members led by Commissioner Lee Myungjun and about 20 children from the headquarters' daycare center, participated in the event, where they planted pine seedlings and azaleas in the landscaping area within the headquarters.

The children who attended the event had a special experience of interacting with nature by touching the soil and watering the plants with their small hands, and the staff also expressed their hope that the Coast Guard would continue to grow together with the local community by planting trees with the children.

Commissioner Lee Myungjun stated, "We will continue to promote various activities to protect a clean environment in the future."
