Daol Asset Management (CEO Changhee Lee) launched the 'Daol Global Trend Sniper Target Conversion Fund' (hereinafter referred to as the 'Daol Trend Sniper Fund') on the 2nd, aiming to quickly capture major trends in the global market and pursue profits.
The Daol Trend Sniper Fund is a mixed equity product that invests in global stocks by discovering promising short-term investment ideas in the global financial market. As a target conversion product, once the target return of 10% (based on Class A) is achieved after the start of operation, the invested assets are replaced with domestic bonds and bond-type ETFs, switching the operation to a bond-type product. If the conversion occurs within six months from the initial setup date, the fund is redeemed at the one-year mark; if conversion occurs after six months, redemption takes place six months after the conversion date.
The main investment strategy of the fund is to proactively capture global trends and focus investments on themes that can lead the market. For example, promising themes such as AI software, power grid infrastructure, the U.S. financial sector, and beneficiaries of protectionism are selected according to the timing, and related global stocks are included in the portfolio. When the target return is achieved or loss thresholds are reached, ideas are quickly replaced and managed.
Additionally, by analyzing the global macroeconomic situation, investment ideas that will lead the financial market over the next three months are determined. The fund features a combination of global macro, price momentum, and oversold stock idea strategies to flexibly respond to short-term volatility. It distinguishes between bull, sideways, and bear markets, and separately configures investments in risk-seeking and risk-averse ideas according to market phase scenarios. Global investment experts with an average of 14 years of experience, including the head and team leaders of Daol Asset Management’s Solution Operation Headquarters, actively respond through portfolio rebalancing.
Kim Seongsan, Head of Retail Marketing at Daol Asset Management, said, "We launched the fund to avoid missing promising investment opportunities in the complex and rapidly changing global market," adding, "We will provide differentiated profit opportunities to investors through thorough risk management and active investment strategies."
The Daol Trend Sniper Fund is a unit-type public offering fund and is scheduled to be established on the 11th after a subscription period from April 2 to 11. It can be subscribed through major distributors such as Kyobo Securities, Samsung Securities, Shinhan Investment Corp., Yuanta Securities, and Korea Investment & Securities.
