At 12:59 p.m. on the 2nd, a fire broke out on a hill in Donggang-myeon, Naju, Jeollanam-do.
After receiving a report that "a fire is breaking out on the mountain," the fire authorities dispatched two helicopters and about 10 personnel to the scene. The main fire was brought under control within 40 minutes of receiving the report.
Some trees were burned in the fire, but there were no casualties.
The fire authorities plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire once it is completely extinguished.
