Redcap Donates 200 Million Won for Wildfire Damage Recovery... Strengthening ESG Activities for a Sustainable Society

Redcap has stepped forward to support the rapid recovery of large-scale wildfire-affected areas, mainly in the Yeongnam region.

On the 2nd, Redcap announced that it donated 200 million KRW to the Seoul Community Chest of Korea. The relief funds will be used for recovery activities in major wildfire-affected areas such as Uiseong, Gyeongbuk; Andong, Gyeongbuk; and Sancheong, Gyeongnam, as well as for supporting disaster victims, providing daily necessities, housing support, and other emergency livelihood stabilization efforts.

Redcap joined the 2023 Fruit of Love ‘Sharing Distinguished Company’ program and has continued practical efforts to fulfill its corporate social responsibility. The Sharing Distinguished Company program is a corporate donation initiative by the Fruit of Love that aims to fulfill social responsibility through sustainable management and contribute to the public good as corporate citizens to create a better world.

Inyuseong, CEO of Redcap, said, "I extend my deepest condolences to the disaster victims who lost their families and homes due to the unprecedented wildfires," adding, "I pay tribute to all those who devoted themselves at the disaster sites, including firefighters, wildfire suppression teams, public officials, military personnel, and volunteers, and sincerely hope that everyone can regain their daily lives and stability as soon as possible."

Previously, Redcap donated 200 million KRW to support wildfire victims in Gangwon and Gyeongbuk in 2022, and 100 million KRW to aid earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria in 2023 through the Seoul Community Chest of Korea.
